Then, &lt;a href="http://www.schneier.com/blog/archives/2007/06/tsa_and_the_sip.html"&gt;I [Schneier] wrote&lt;/a&gt;:&lt;/p&gt;

Of course this kind of thing induces paranoia. It’s the sort of thing you read about in history books about East Germany and other police states.
